Can a California job center pay for a Nevada course?
Sometimes. In California, WIOA training money is handed out through America’s Job Centers of California (AJCCs), run by your local workforce development board. California has a reciprocal agreement with Nevada that lets those boards use approved training providers on Nevada’s list, and Pretty In Ink Brow Academy is an approved training provider recognized by the State of Nevada for eligible workforce funding programs.
Two things decide whether it works for you. California-listed programs come first, so your counselor will look for an equivalent course closer to home before using the Nevada route. And every board sets its own policy. The academy cannot approve, promise or speed up funding from a California job center.
Ask your AJCC before you pay a deposit. If they say yes, we will give them whatever they need from the academy.

The academy is at 845 Aitken St, Reno, off I-80. Many permanent makeup classes in the region run over a weekend. This one is five full days, with live models, because that is how long it takes to leave able to charge for the work.

Working in California
California regulates permanent makeup under the Safe Body Art Act, through your county rather than a state license. Practitioners register with their county every year, and need annual bloodborne pathogens training and Hepatitis B vaccination documentation. Details and fees vary by county, so check with your county’s environmental health department before you book.
