What this website collects, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.

Who we are
This website is operated by Pretty In Ink LLC, trading as Pretty In Ink Brow Academy, 845 Aitken St, Reno, NV 89502. You can reach us at booking@prettyininkreno.com or (775) 544-4471.
What this website collects
Information you send us. When you submit the contact or waitlist form, we receive the name, email address, phone number and message you type into it. We use that solely to reply to you and to arrange your appointment or enrollment. We do not sell it and we do not add you to a marketing list you did not ask for.
Your payment details. Card numbers are entered directly into Stripe’s own payment fields and are sent to Stripe, not to us. This website never receives, processes or stores a card number, and we could not retrieve one if we tried. When you book an appointment, a card on file is required: Stripe keeps the card you pay with against your customer record and gives this site only a reference to it, which is enough to charge the unpaid balance of a missed appointment under the booking policies you agreed to, and nothing more. Ask us after your appointment and we will delete that stored card.
Records of what you agreed to. When you agree to the booking policies at checkout, we save with your order the wording you agreed to, the date and time, your IP address and your browser type, as evidence of that agreement. When a student signs an Enrollment Agreement online, we save the name they typed, the date and time, their IP address and browser type, and which version of the agreement they signed, together with the signed copy. Enrollment records are kept for at least five years after training ends, as Nevada requires.
Your theme preference. The site stores whether you chose day or night mode in your browser’s local storage. It never leaves your device and is not readable by us.
Your cookie choice. If you accept or decline via the cookie notice, that answer is stored in your browser so we do not ask again. You can change it at any time using “Privacy Choices” at the bottom of every page.
Standard server logs. Our host records the usual request information (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) as part of operating and securing the server.
Third-party content on this site
Two features load content from other companies, and those companies may set their own cookies or receive your IP address when they do:
- Google Maps serves the map on the contact page.
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces the site is set in.
Each is governed by Google’s own privacy policy, not ours.
Analytics and advertising measurement
We use Google Analytics to see how many people visit this site and which pages and services they look at, and to measure whether our Google and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) ads lead to enquiries and bookings. The actions we measure are: sending a contact or referral form, tapping our phone number or email address, pressing a booking button, starting checkout, and completing a booking.
It is on unless you switch it off. Google’s cookies are used to count repeat visits as one person and to tell us which ad, if any, a booking came from. You can decline on the cookie notice, or at any time using “Privacy Choices” at the bottom of every page. Once you decline, Google’s tag stores nothing in your browser and cannot recognise you on a later visit; it only counts the visit, without cookies.
The Meta Pixel. Unless you decline, the Meta Pixel is loaded and reports the actions listed above to Meta (Facebook and Instagram) so we can see which of our ads lead to enquiries and bookings. If you decline, it is switched off immediately and not loaded again.
Bookings. When you book and pay on this site, we also tell Meta about that booking directly from our server so it can be matched to the ad you saw. That report includes the booking value and your email address, phone number, name and billing city, state and ZIP code, each converted into an irreversible code (a SHA-256 hash) before it leaves our server, along with your IP address and browser type. Meta uses it to measure and improve our ads. It is not sent if you have declined.
Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out: the Meta Pixel is not loaded, the booking report to Meta is not sent, and Google’s advertising measurement is switched off. Google Analytics still counts the visit.
Visitors in Europe. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, all of the above stays off unless you choose “OK” on the cookie notice.
We never send Google Analytics your name, email address, phone number, or anything you type into a form on this site.
Client records held offline
Separately from this website, we hold the consent forms, medical history and appointment records required to perform permanent makeup safely and to comply with Washoe County health regulations. Those are kept securely, used only for your care, and retained for as long as the applicable regulations require. Ask us if you want to know what we hold about you.
Your choices
- Decline non-essential cookies on the cookie notice, or at any time using “Privacy Choices” at the bottom of every page. That also stops the Meta Pixel and the booking report to Meta described above. Your browser’s Global Privacy Control setting is honoured automatically.
- Ask us to delete a card kept on file after your appointment by emailing booking@prettyininkreno.com. A card on file is required to book an appointment. Removing it does not affect a booking you have already paid for.
- Ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask for it to be corrected or deleted, by emailing booking@prettyininkreno.com. Some records we are required to keep for a set period; we will tell you if that applies.
- Nevada residents have a right under NRS 603A.340 to tell us not to sell their personal information. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of, but the request will be honoured and recorded regardless.
- California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA to know, delete and opt out, including of sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising. Use “Privacy Choices” at the bottom of any page or a Global Privacy Control signal to opt out on this site, or email the address above.
Children
This site is not directed at children, and academy enrollment requires you to be 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, for example when a new tracking or payment feature is added, the updated date at the top of this page will change and the new version will be posted here before the feature goes live.
