Appointments

All professional services are performed by the owner and trainer. Appointments are by appointment only. Prices listed on this site are current at the time of publication and may change; the price confirmed when you book is the price you pay.

Permanent cosmetic procedures normally require multiple treatment sessions. Every new set of brows, lips or eyeliner includes a separately priced perfecting session six to eight weeks later. That second session is part of the process, not an upsell, and its cost is listed alongside every service.

Deposits, cancellations and missed appointments. The deposit amount shown at checkout is non-refundable, including when you choose to pay in full. You must cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your appointment. If you miss your appointment without doing so, the rest of the service price (the full price minus what you have already paid) is charged to the card on file. You are never charged more than the unpaid balance, and you get an email receipt if your card is charged.

Card on file. A card on file is required to book an appointment. At checkout you tick one box to agree to these booking policies and to us keeping the card you pay with on file. The card details are held by Stripe, our payment processor. They are never stored on this website and we cannot see them. A card on file is only used after a missed appointment, for no more than the unpaid balance. You can ask us to remove your card at any time after your appointment, and we will. Some payment methods cannot be kept on file, so they are not offered when you book an appointment. Course enrollments do not keep a card on file unless you book an appointment in the same checkout.

Suitability and aftercare

You must follow the pre-care and aftercare instructions. Several restrictions begin up to four weeks before your appointment. You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding for any pigment service.

Results depend on your skin, your healing and your aftercare. As stated in the aftercare guidance: there are no implied or written guarantees if you do not take care of your tattoo. We reserve the right to decline or postpone a service where it would not be safe or would not produce an acceptable result.

Course enrollment and tuition

Tuition for the 6 Day Hands-On Deluxe Course is billed in two parts: a $1,000 deposit to hold your seat in the class and secure your supplies, and $4,500 due before or on the first day of training. Class size is limited to five students per instructor and seats are allocated in the order deposits are received.

Signing your Enrollment Agreement. You read and sign the Enrollment Agreement online at checkout, typing your full legal name as your signature, and we email you the signed copy once your payment goes through. If you would rather sign on paper, call (775) 544-4471 or email booking@prettyininkreno.com before you pay and we will arrange it at the academy, at no charge. You may cancel the agreement in writing (email is fine) until 11:59 pm Pacific on the third calendar day after the day you sign.

You must be 18 years old at the time of enrollment and provide a valid driver’s license or other valid ID. Credit for previous training and education is not accepted.

Refund policy

Pretty In Ink Brow Academy follows the refund policy requirements outlined in NRS 394.449. In summary:

• If the academy substantially fails to furnish the training program agreed upon in the enrollment agreement, all money paid is refunded.
• If you cancel before the training program starts, or no later than three days after signing the Enrollment Agreement, all money paid is refunded minus 10% of the tuition or $150, whichever is less.
• If you withdraw or are expelled after the program starts but before completing more than 60% of it, a pro rata amount of tuition is refunded, minus 10% of the tuition or $150, whichever is less. The pro rata amount is measured from the first day of instruction through your last day of actual attendance.
• If you withdraw or are expelled after completing more than 60% of the program, no refund is issued and the full tuition is charged.
• Where a refund is owed, it is paid to the person or entity who paid the tuition within 15 calendar days of the applicable date.
• Books, educational supplies and equipment for individual use are not covered by the tuition refund policy. A separate refund is provided for those items if they were not used and are returned in new condition.

Attendance

The academy maintains a strict attendance policy because of the condensed nature of the courses, and missing a single day materially affects your ability to complete the program. All absences must be approved in advance. Unsatisfactory attendance may result in dismissal from the program.

Grievances and appeals

Raise any issue informally with your instructor first. If it is not resolved, file a written grievance with the academy’s administration. If you are not satisfied with the outcome you may appeal in writing to the Appeals Committee within 10 days, and after that seek external review through the state regulator using the Student Complaints link in the footer of this site.

Student indemnification

In accordance with NRS 394.553, Pretty In Ink Brow Academy participates in the Account for Student Indemnification. Indemnification from a surety bond under NRS 394.480 must be used first. The existence of this account does not guarantee any person the right to receive money.

Career and placement

Graduates may rent a booth on site to begin building clientele. The academy does not guarantee clients, does not assist in acquiring clientele, and does not guarantee job placement upon graduation.
