What an enhancement is, versus eyeliner
An enhancement fills the gaps between individual lash follicles right at the lash root. There is no wing, no thickness above the lash line, and no shape to speak of. The effect is that of a full set of naturally dark lashes, and most people cannot tell you have had anything done, only that your eyes look more defined. If you want something visible, book Winged Eyeliner instead.
Who this is for
Sparse or fair lashes, anyone who has lost lash density with age, contact lens wearers who cannot tolerate mascara, and anyone who wants a permanent makeup result their workplace will never notice. It is also the natural first step for clients who are nervous about permanent makeup on the eyes, because it is a smaller commitment than a full liner and it can always be built on later.
Aftercare
One hour in the chair, then the same ten-day rule as any eye work: no mascara, no swimming, no rubbing, no lash curling. Swelling is usually minimal because the treated area is so small.
