What healing does to a fresh line
Eyelid skin is thin, mobile and heals fast, which is good for comfort and bad for pigment retention. It is common for a first session to hold 60 to 80 percent of what was implanted, usually with the thinnest sections, the inner corner and the very tip of the wing, losing the most. The touch up puts that back.
Also the moment to adjust
Now that you have lived with the liner for six weeks, you know whether you want it thicker, whether the wing should be a few millimetres longer, or whether it is already exactly right. All of that is easy to act on in this session and much harder to change later, since pigment can be added but not subtracted.
