Can Utah DWS pay for a Nevada course?
Sometimes. Utah runs WIOA training money through the Department of Workforce Services, statewide, from its employment centers. There are no separate regional boards, so the rules are the same wherever you live in Utah.
Utah and Nevada have a reciprocal agreement that lets each state use the other’s approved training providers, and Pretty In Ink Brow Academy is an approved training provider recognized by the State of Nevada for eligible workforce funding programs. Whether a Nevada course fits your plan is your counselor’s decision. The academy cannot approve, promise or speed up funding from DWS.
Talk to DWS before you pay a deposit or book flights. If they say yes, we will give them whatever they need from the academy.

Fly in, train for the week, fly home
The academy is at 845 Aitken St, Reno, a short drive from Reno-Tahoe International Airport. Plan to fly in the day before class and stay in Reno for the week.
Some class dates run into a sixth day, so check your class on the course dates page before you book a return flight.

Working in Utah
Utah has no statewide permanent makeup license. The state Body Art Facility rule is enforced by local health departments, which issue facility permits, and some counties add requirements of their own. Check with your county health department before you book, so you know what you will need when you get home.

Flying is the easy way. Delta flies nonstop from Salt Lake City to Reno-Tahoe International Airport, and the studio is a short drive from the airport. Driving from Salt Lake City takes about eight hours on I-80.
