The best of both techniques, deliberately
Combination brows put crisp, individually drawn hairstrokes through the front third of the brow, where the eye actually looks for texture, and lay soft machine shading through the body and tail, where density and shape do the work. The front stays convincingly natural and the rest holds up over time. On skin that is somewhere between dry and oily, which is most people, this is the technique that ages best.
Mapping comes first, always
Two hours are booked and roughly the first thirty minutes go to shape. Your brow is measured against your own bone structure and drawn in pencil, and adjusted until you are genuinely happy, not politely happy. Pigment is mixed to your natural hair colour and undertone, cool or warm, and tested on the skin before anything is implanted.
Healing and touch up
The hairstroke areas heal faster and lighter than the shaded areas, so expect the two to look slightly out of balance around week two. They converge by week four. Your perfecting session at six to eight weeks is where any strokes that did not retain are re-drawn and shading density is brought up to match.
