What the twenty minutes covers
Your skin type is assessed, because oily versus dry decides microblading versus ombre more than preference does. Your natural brow shape and bone structure are measured and a shape is drawn on so you can see it before committing. Pigment undertones are tested against your skin in natural light. Any existing permanent makeup, scarring or previous work is examined. You leave with a specific recommendation and a price, not a sales pitch.
When a consultation is genuinely worth booking
Book one if you have had permanent makeup elsewhere that you are unhappy with, if you have oily or problematic skin, if you are on any medication that affects healing, if you have keloid scarring, or if you simply do not know which of the brow techniques is right for you. If you already know exactly what you want and have no complicating factors, you can book the service directly, since mapping is built into every appointment anyway.
Honesty includes saying no
Some skin and some conditions are not good candidates for permanent makeup, and some existing work needs removal before anything new can be added. You will be told that plainly here rather than sold an appointment that produces a result nobody is happy with.
